Icebreaker Testimonial down Under.

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

A month down under and what piece of clothing did I wear the most? My Icebreaker Courtney Zip. It kept me warm on the way to the ap1020709irport on a mid february toronto afternoon. Wore it on the plane. Used it as a blanket on the overnight train trip from Adelaide to Alice Springs. Used it as a pillow for a nap in Sydney’s botanical gardens. But most importantly when I was in the Cradle Mountains in Tasmania,I wore it on a 5 hour hike in the rain and a thunderstorm. I was slightly unprepared, as I hadn’t brought a raincoat on my trip, so knowing it would be raining in Tasmania, I picked up a light ‘waterproof’ raincoat, which after an hour or so in the driving rain, was soaked through. With my Icebreaker Amazon Scoop and Courtney Zip on under my coat, I was still warm, even on a cold rainy day in tassie, and even when they soaked through as well. Still warm even when wet. Nice. Here’s a picture of me layered up with Icebreaker, including their new merino wool bandana, which I loved, even if I did look like AxelRose – andria

p.s. We have a tonne more icebreaker in the stores than we do online. If there’s a piece of Icebreaker that you are looking for, just send us an email to info@australianboot.com.
