| Australian Boots: The Perfect Fit |
Blundstone Boot Fitting:
It's not abnormal for there to be some initial movement in
the boot, particularly in the heel area. Length is the most important
element when trying them on. All our boots have reinforced toes which
help keep the shape of the boot intact. The boots will never stretch
in length. However, they will stretch and mold to the top of the feet,
and will easily stretch in width if required. If the fit is initially
tight on the top of your feet, be patient, it will stretch or can
be stretched by a cobbler.
R.M. Williams Fitting:
These boots should hug your foot snugly across the instep, give close
support under the arch, and match the shape of your heel. The widest
part of your foot should fit firmly within the widest part of your
boot, and your heel should rise only slightly if at all while you
flex your foot in a walking action. The leather uppers will not stretch,
however, they will 'ease' to mold the contours of your foot. |
