Walking Australian Boot Company Ad.
This past weekend I went down to Vermont to celebrate American Thanksgiving with some of my relatives who migrated there. On Saturday we went for a hike in Merck Forest, part of the gorgeous Green Mountain range. As I was hiking up the winding mountain road, I noticed that I was dressed head to toe in Australian Boot Company product, and believe me it’s not just because I work there. I’ve worked in the outdoor goods industry for years, and have had access to every type of performance gear on the market, but my tried and trues, and the favourites that I put on time and time again are the basics that have worked their way into my default wardrobe. On my toes, I had my Icebreaker Hiker Mid Socks, and my Blundstone Chunk Sole 490′s (with a pair of Superfeet insoles tucked inside for extra support). On my body, I had my Icebreaker Bodyfit 200 Leggings, my Icebreaker cami, my Icebreaker Superfine Endeavour Hoody, and my old favourite the Raven Jacket. On my fingers, the Icbreaker liner gloves and on my head an Icebreaker Pocket Hat.
I kid you not. I was not planning to dress in all of our products, but there I was, in the middle of the woods, a walking Australian Boot Company ad.
